Yoga Teacher Bio
I started practicing yoga in 2013 to recover from rock climbing related injuries. In January 2018, after experiencing the benefits of a daily yoga practice, I did the 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Asheville Yoga Center‘s world renowned yoga school. I am inspired by the impact that even basic yoga knowledge has on people. My classes are fun, yet challenging with focus on alignment and finding the strength within each person. Classes are relaxing with a focus on the breath and proper alignment throughout.

Teaching Yoga in South America
Backing in South America I taught and shared my yoga practice along the way. I had the opportunity to teach in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. In Colombia I taught while at the Spanish Adventure Spanish School and Casas Viejas Hostel in Minca. At Minga Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon I taught for participants of ME to WE trips. In Peru I taught at several hotels and hostels with beautiful views of the ocean. Read my full article about teaching yoga in South America to learn more about my experience.
